Wondrous Space

My partner, Scott Banks, and I worked with MDSX to design props for the Wondrous Space exhibit at the Franklin Institute. They asked for a collection of gold props to fill a case showing examples of what people could want to bring with them to space.

Another part of the exhibit was to have interactive boxes of accurate size to the cases astronauts bring with them. The foam blocks could be arranged to choose what you could take with you to space.

Prop Boxes

The items in the exhibit were represented by foam blocks with coordinating graphics. Molds were made for the multiple sized foam an resin was cast over stickers.
