VADO - Fort Collins, CO
VADO’s focus is on premium men’s apparel. When building VADO’s look, I wanted to have a modern feel that would also attract the outdoorsy, hip crowd of Fort Collins. A lot of what Leah sells in her store is apparel and accessories for adventurers who go from the California coastlines to the highest peaks of Colorado. Apparel for anytime, anywhere.

Designing the Logo
The most important parts of the VADO brand are that it’s made for the adventurer and local to Fort Collins, Colorado. The way to bridge those ideas is through the idea of hiking, an important part of the Colorado lifestyle. When creating the VADO logo, I included a symbol in the A that makes the letter resemble a mountain. When standing alone, the symbol also works as an arrow supporting the slogan of ‘maintaining the culture of “go”’. This symbol is very versatile and has become synonymous with the store’s logo.
