Interpretation of Berlo’s Model in
Graphic Props for Film

This project was created as a part of my SCAD course in Design Research, Analysis, and Discourse. I wrote a 5 page paper on the Interpretation of Berlo’s Model in Graphic Props for Film, created a design artifact (the set & props) and designed a final book to house the designed version of the paper.

To prove the points I made in my paper, I looked at the iconic Harry Potter graphic props designed by Mina Lima and took out what makes them magical. By redesigning these props, I showed how design can inform the way a story is told.
